Delone Catholic High School graduate Casey Lawrence recently was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Pitcher of the Week.
The Albright College junior also was named the Commonwealth Conference Pitcher of the Week after he won twice in games against Ramapo and Ripon during his team’s spring break trip to Florida.

Gettysburg High School graduate Johanna Spangler was honored recently as the Liberty League track and field Rookie of the Week.
The Vassar freshman, who reached Nationals during cross country in the fall, ran her first 5,000-meter race in the Willie Williams Classic.

Delone Catholic hurdler Mariah Robertson was electricity in a bottle Tuesday at South Western High.
The junior hurdler smoked competition in both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles en route to two first place finishes in those events and she also took two first places in 100-meter dash and the 4 x 400-meter relay.
