Cory MullCory Mull is a sports writer for The Evening Sun, a daily newspaper based in Hanover, Pa., serving the greater Hanover and Gettysburg areas.

The opinions expressed on this blog are Cory’s, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Evening Sun.

A graduate of Kutztown University, Cory was born in Hershey, a town built around a fascination with chocolate. His love for sports was bred from an early age, when his parents threw him into the well-versed culture of youth sports. He went to Lower Dauphin, a central figure in the Mid-Penn, and was a two-year letterman for the Falcons basketball team, where he threw up 3-pointers like it was nobody’s business. And though his playing days faded by college, his passion never ceased. After finding his way at Kutztown – like most students, by chance – he became a sports writer.

Brian SheaBrian Shea is a former sports reporter for The Evening Sun who works in the Baltimore area. He lives in Hanover and continues to cover football games on Friday nights. A recently certified wrestling official, Shea graduated from Allegheny College and has an all around knowledge of this coverage area. His hobbies include wrestling, D.C. United soccer and the game of cornhole — he recently gave up chicken wings, but by no fault of his own.

Travis Johnson is a sports writer for The Evening Sun. A recent graduate of Penn State University, Johnson covered the Nittany Lion football team, where he was one of the main beat writers during his senior year.

A native of Fairfield, Johnson has roots with the Green Knights.
